Hi Uwe,
&nbs= p;
now around 9 UT, the band appears to be much more qui= et=2E Would you like to make another attempt?
<= font face=3D"Arial" size=3D"2">
BTW Yesterday morning your carrier became invisible on = Paul's spectrogram between 7 and 11 UT=2E Had you taken the TX off= air, or was there another PSK sequence?

Could you try to start a message at 7=2E=2E=2E8 = UTC? 4 hours is fine=2E
You know, the QRN=2E=2E=2E

Meanwhile = my GPS module NEO-6M arrived here and i got it working=2E It consumes 5= 8mA at 3=2E3V=2E
I'm able to feed the 1pps to SpecLab and correct th= e soundcard drift + glitches=2E But NMEA (an improvement of NIVEA!) cou= ld be helpful too, so this is what i'm trying now=2E So far without suc= cess=2E=2E=2E

Hi Uwe= ,

unfortunately static level was high, preventing=  your carriers before and after the PSK from showing up = in my spectrogram=2E The EbNaut decoder produced "GL" at rank 1342= 9 and -1 dB Eb/N0, but I have no clue whether this message is really&nb= sp;correct=2E

Thanks Uwe=2E The = late evening may not be ideal in terms of QRN background but let's= try anyway=2E I have pushed out the antenna again (half height due to = wind), and restarted the VLF grabbers with EbNaut recording since19 UT=2E=  8270=2E000 is still within EbNaut's bandwidth (+-1/40 Hz) of=  your QRG so I hope that my new VLF neighbour Roland won't fi= re up tonight=2E

Yesterday afternoon the noise was fairly moderate, a= nd around 18 UT I caught a good dash in 63 uHz, presumably from DJ= 8WX=2E I then attempted simulated EbNaut decodes on the carrier, using = 1 and 2 character settings and 40 s symbols=2E Both resulted in valid a= sterisk messages, with some more margin to spare for the single charact= er=2E So far I have never decoded a real message on VLF, and I'd b= e keen to try=2E=2E=2E
