But separate antennas are better i find. If you want to receive Markus or me, maybe a loop is a better choice. that means changing the the matching point of from five Ohm to abt five kOhm and

retuning the antenna.

question: should I do so?

It looks like i can see your transmission on my VLF forest remote grabber, http://www.iup.uni-heidelberg.de/schaefer_vlf/DK7FC_VLF_Grabber2.html
The signal is well visible in the 'DFCW6000' window! In the city, i just see QRN/QRM. That is a nice first trace of amateur signals there (except my own of course).
1PPS+NMEA is running stable since a few days.
I'm now starting to try to decode you both.
