Uwe, your transmissions a= re very interesting=2E I'm looking forward to receive the 5 char messag= e at 30s=2E We can try 25s symbols later :-)

Congrats to Stefan and Markus=2E

The EbNaut Sender is prepared fo= r length 5, retaining period 30=2E
But: this afternoon the sky suddenly turned from blue to dark gre= y, so possibly the TX stays off=2E

We will see=2E

Uwe,

=2E=2E=2E me too ;-)= I was actually surprised about the successful decode because= the nighttime carrier was well visible in Heidelberg but not at all in= my spectrogram=2E

Anyway both our decodes were close to the limit, so = for the next step I would suggest to try 5 char but stay with 30 s= ec symbols=2E Due to the FEC and CRC overhead, going from 3&n= bsp;to 5 characters (1=2E667 x payload) will increase the total ti= me only by a factor of  1=2E23 so we already loose = 1=2E32 dB sensitivity=2E Shortening the symbols from 30 to 20 seconds w= ould cost another 1=2E76 dB=2E

Thanks for the test!

All the best,

Hello Uwe,

= Thanks for the VLF transmission=2E No problem to decode the message! Se= e attachment=2E
If Markus can decode and no other station wants to t= ry, maybe we can try 20s symbols and 5 characters, your callsign for ex= ample :-)

As you probably saw, i saw your carrier on 8269=2E99 H= z in my 6000 window in the city but not in the forest=2E Either it is a= propagation phenomenon that i don't understand yet or there is still s= omething wrong with the drift calibration=2E I will today go on the tre= e again to re-configure the GPS-module and see if this makes a differen= ce=2E=2E=2E
