I can see the "business model" for distributing ads. I never open bounce messages anyway. But to distribute them to all group members they must be piggybacking on the original members registered status or forging the return message (which I think is illegal) You should not get too many of these from Yahoo groups because bouncers are removed from thedistribution list an eventually removed from the group by the moderators. In fact I dount remember seeing one instance. I think Yahoo stopped propagating non-delivery messages to avoid the ping-pong effect. Unless someone can forge a G3XZX unsubscribe message we may have to put up with them on the Blacksheep group. Sad as one point for retaining the group was the lack of annoying ads :-(( Alan G3NYK ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andy Talbot" To: Sent: Wednesday, March 02, 2016 11:47 AM Subject: LF: Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary=001a1143a7ecc76e24052d0f72ff > --001a1143a7ecc76e24052d0f72ff > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 > > Found this relating to the annoying bounce messages for G3XZX > > http://www.atelier.net/en/trends/articles/bounceio-looking-turn-non-delivered-emails-advertising-goldmine_431691 > > I've trying to train my Spam filters - but they are proving obstinate. > > 'jnt > > --001a1143a7ecc76e24052d0f72ff > Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 > Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable > >
