The RF is directly generated by the Raspberry Pi at 4x frequency and divided down again inside the PA. It is a concept used by several active OMs, i can assure you. For high SNR decodes it can sometimes happen that there is a second decode 100 Hz above the main frequency, of course coming from the supply voltage which uses a capacitor of finite size. However that signal is at about -40 dBc, which is quite normal for amateur signals. It is not the first time that you tell me to stop my transmission and saying that my signal has a poor quality. If you want to start a discussion about ham-spirit, which is of course a triggering key-word in amateur radio, then say it clearly. You know, my signal may sometimes cause problems to local stations. But also think about chances like the first contact to FR5ZX, which started and interesting experiment (for some weeks) allowing several OMs to be decodes there. Try to imagine how the band(s) activity would be if everyone runs 13 dBm. I think it is good that there are signals in different power leagues. We can all work and live together. 73, Stefan Am 26.03.2016 20:36, schrieb F6CNI - Andy - JN19QB: > > Hello Stefan. > > I am sorry, but this evening you have a very poor quality WSPR signal > on MF with many splatters, I think it is perhaps due to an overload TX > AF level. > > That is not in phase with the normal ham spirit. Hello Stefan.

I am sorry, but this evening you have a very poor quality WSPR signal on MF with many splatters, I think it is perhaps due to an overload TX AF level.

That is not in phase with the normal ham spirit. So, please be kind to stop now your transmission and correct this problem.

On the way, can you say honnestly if your power is not over the legal limit ?

Sincerly yours and  my best 73 de Andy.

P.S.

Have a look below at some reports last hour showing the problem :
