I have several of that "type" of device, which has the U-Blox or Neo (the naming is confusing) chipset that is used on many manufacturer's products. It does have a 1 PPS output . I would steer clear of any that have the antenna on te module though - simply because it is easier to build the GPS module into any piece of equipment and run in a single coax antenna lead than it is to mount the whole assembly in view of the sky and have to run a muilticore cable. Yes I agree.=C2=A0 I have several of that "type"= of device, which has the U-Blox or Neo=C2=A0(the naming is confusing)=C2= =A0=C2=A0chipset =C2=A0that is used on many manufacturer's products. = =C2=A0
It does have a 1 PPS output . =C2=A0

I would steer clear of any that have the antenna on te module though - s= imply because it is easier to build the GPS module into any piece of equipm= ent and run in a single coax antenna lead than it is to mount the whole ass= embly in view of the sky and have to run a muilticore cable.

No PPS so not much use for this application.=C2=A0 You
would definitely need a 1PPS output.
Still, there is a pps pin, see attachment.
The power consumption is a significant factor BTW.
