Nice responses to last night's WOLF run! The WD2XES signal was on from 2302 to 0345 UTC. The transmitter was running 450 watts output, which based on FS measurements some years ago, would represent 1 watt ERP (no "I"). The loop antenna has degenerated somewhat since then, due to wind and ice storms. So, the 1 watt may be a little optimistic. The transmitter is a Hafler 9500 amplifier with a homebrew phasing exciter. Thanks to Hartmut, Steve G3XKR, Joe DJ2FP and a bunch of US/CA folks for the successful reports. And of course, to Stefan DK7FC and others who may have tried. Would be happy to do this again, and happy to listen for Andy if his amplifier works out. John, W1TAG/WD2XES FN42ch
