Of course. But not the U3's firmware source.

Hi All,

a Pic or Atmel for pressing left and right buttons in the correct sequence could do the job within milli seconds.

But too mutch action for me. A special JT9 firmware would be great. A pitty that the code isn't open source.

Hi Steve, Vinny

I'm also using U3 as MF exciter. Thought about using it on JT9 as I have a U3S also (JT9 only supported in U3S not U3)
But, as Vinny reports, it would be a nightmare to struggle with menus to change the message :(

An U3S with UART and some commands (CAT command based maybe) would be nice. But obviously a different beast
Probably the U3S Arduino shield is the way to go for such a thing

Hello Steve,

I have tried to use mine for a driver during OZ0IL activity. RX was a funcube pro +.

The generated signal is ufb. I got many decodes.

But changing the messages in 10 seconds after RX decode is nearly impossible because of the menue handling. Especially entering the partners callsign takes too long.

So best solution would be to use two U3S to prepare the next message on the second one. It's worth money.

Have any of you been using this for JT-9 QSO work on 630m, either by itself
or for a driver?
