It is a bit dated isn't it. Based on 11025 sampling rate, that'll give the old early WSJT soundcard calibration issues all over again. And only appears to give soundcard output. I do have an upconverter, but that needs I/Q drive and doubt the software generates that, so a phasing network needed. Direct digital drive to to be able to control my Gaussian ramped PSK source would have been better. Will take another look anyway - but I can see why its not used much here now... WOLF(s) can still=C2=A0be heard from here in Alaska != - and got to be=C2=A0honest I run the Decca directly at full chat direct fr= om my HB transverter - =C2=A0but never had complaints about spreading thoug= h I didn't have a lot of=C2=A0locals even then in NE=C2=A0Oklahoma.
= =C2=A0
=C2=A0It was and still is a fine mode and the Gui model is easish= to run as long as=C2=A0you calibrate it correctly, even for me.

Indeed -=C2=A0
What happened to WOLF =C2=A0(*) ?
<= br>
I've just tried Googling (**) it and find practically no = hits.=C2=A0 The data mode seems to have been used successfully =C2=A0in the= years around 2001 and on, for a bit, but has faded. =C2=A0 The URL I had f= or it is now gives the magic 404.=C2=A0 Didn't the first transatlantic = contact on 137kHz use this mode?

I guess that as i= t used 10 baud =C2=A0BPSK, =C2=A0was considered too complicated for the ave= rage LF Op. to generate. =C2=A0 No one seems to use upconversion from audio= , and few seem to be able to make simple PSK encoders. =C2=A0 Even for EBna= ut, relays =C2=A0are suggested as the means to reverse the phase (yes, true= ly !!). =C2=A0 =C2=A0I suppose, to be fair, 10 baud unfiltered BPSK from a = high power transmitter is a bit unkind to other band users.
