Good observation No auroral handicap here under 40º north We will test that over the coming winter season to get a clear idea May be I'll have to run >70w to "equalize" ;-) 73 de Luis EA5DOM -----Mensaje original----- De: owner-rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org [mailto:owner-rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org] En nombre de John Andrews Enviado el: lunes, 09 de noviembre de 2015 14:41 Para: rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org Asunto: Re: LF: RE: AW: MF WSPR Luis, > Getting good spots from La Reunion and sourprisingly, the only "pond > crossing" spots over the last two nights were mine. Check Rx station > WD2XSH/17 Regarding the "pond crossings," remember that you (lat. 38.6d) are farther south than some of your European competition. DK7FC is at lat. 49.4d, and G8HUH at 51.3d, for example. With the continued auroral activity (and more expected), this gives you an advantage over the more northerly stations. When the incoming solar activity slows down, things will equalize. John, W1TAG
