My PA0RDT has been operating for many years being located only 10m from my main TXing vertical section of a inverted L. At the shack in the coaxial line from the PA0RDT I have a 150ma 6.3v dial lamp in series with the center conductor (like a in line fuse) It glows dim when I transmit on MF or LF and seems to offer some protection to the receiver. So far the little PA0RDT keeps working, despite being totally overloaded when I transmit. One thing else - we don't get many T-storms here on the coast. 73 John / VE7BDQ
