See, for example, the combined reception of GPS (NMEA) data and sync pulses through the same soundcard which also receives the PSK signal: http://www.qsl.net/dl4yhf/speclab/frqcalib.htm#gps_pps_output (well, we really need the sub-millisecond accuracy for EnNaut - if the PC's time is synchronized via NTP, it's sufficient.. You can see reported symbol / carrier EbN0 and also the messages exchanged,  in the attached screen-shots taken at both ends.

We hope now to joint other stations that want to challenge the timing and frequency accuracy, to have a QSO in LF close to the Shannon limit.
