No fancy equipment is used: a 1 transistor regenerative RX and a 70 feet longwire, a high impedance headphone and the human brain to decode the Morse and last but not least pencil and paper to write down what is heard! If you are really interested what is possible go to: http://www.classaxe.com/dx/ndb/rna/signal_list Select listener Steve Ratzlaff, La Grande NE Oregon, AA7U and see what he heard by aural copy with a couple of bog's. 73, Roelof Bakker, pa0rdt Middelburg, Netherlands JO11tm (who once heard NDB IPA-280, Easter Island by aural copy on a pa0rdt-Mini-Whip and PERSEUS SDR)
