Hi Stefan, all,

And i wrote an email to PE1NNZ and asked to a modification of the C-program to generate a signal with 4x higher FSK shift. Then it it would be possible to use that version for OMs having a divide-by-4 stage in their PA (to get a perfect 50% duty cycle and rectangular shape (after passing optocouplers etc)). This would be a safe way to drive my QRP PA, testwise of course...

I have written such a program for windows (actually you can set the devider ratio to any number between 1 and 100).
That way any HF TRX can be used to gerate a MF (or LF) WSPR signal with a simple CMOS ot TTL divider IC.
If anyone is interested just let me know ...

Hi Rik,

Sounds good but how does the windows PC generate the RF? You know, the Raspi directly generates a "tone" at 475 kHz (or any other frequency up to 250 MHz), not at 1500 Hz.
Anyway it is interesting. Does your program provide time sync and a GUI to type callsign/locator/erp and a "duty cycle"?
