K9AN introduced a deepsearch version of WSPR. Bill M0WLH compiled the code and is available here : http://www.m0nka.co.uk/?p=2745 This early morning I ran the 2 instances shortly on a crowded 30m. It's clear that the DS version intercepts more details. Particulary those signals which are close to each other are more distinctive. For MF usefull because I noticed that there are lot of users there close together which makes intercepting rather difficult. However I didn't check it properly yet. My first results on 30m see below: Normal WSPR: 0006 7 -0.4 10.140189 0 *EB5DQ* IM99 37 0008 -22 -0.6 10.140286 0 *EK6RS*C LN20 37 0010 -20 4.1 10.140198 0 *AB4QS* EL88 37 0012 -27 -0.9 10.140289 -1 *LZ0DLS* KN12 23 0016 -15 -0.3 10.140187 1 *EB5DQ* IM99 37 0016 -26 0.3 10.140201 1 *ZS6AF* KG54 37 0018 -23 -0.4 10.140190 0 *K4RCG* FM08 33 0018 -23 -1.2 10.140289 0 *LZ0DLS* KN12 23 0020 -27 0.1 10.140204 -1 *EA4DUT* IN80 23 0024 -19 -2.3 10.140284 0 *EK6RSC* LN20 37 0034 -24 4.1 10.140199 1 *AB4QS* EL88 37 0036 -14 0.1 10.140189 0 *EB5DQ* IM99 37 DEEP SEARCH - I marked lines with * which where not detected with the normal software. 0006 6 -0.4 10.140188 1 *EB5DQ* IM99 37 0006 -27 -1.0 10.140288 0 *LZ0DLS* KN12 23 *** 0008 -23 -0.6 10.140285 0 *EK6RSC* LN20 37 0010 -23 -0.0 10.140191 0 *K4RCG* FM08 33 * 0010 -20 4.1 10.140198 1 *AB4QS* EL88 37 0010 -20 -5.5 10.140212 0 *ON7KO* JO21 37 * 0010 -21 1.3 10.140308 -1 *ON4CAF* JO21 37 * 0012 -26 -1.1 10.140289 -1 *LZ0DLS* KN12 23 0014 -19 -0.8 10.140247 0 <...> JO21IT 33 0016 -15 -0.3 10.140187 3 *EB5DQ* IM99 37 0016 -26 0.3 10.140201 2 *ZS6AF* KG54 37 0018 -23 -0.4 10.140190 1 *K4RCG* FM08 33 0018 -22 -1.1 10.140288 0 *LZ0DLS* KN12 23 0020 -27 0.0 10.140203 0 *EA4DUT* IN80 23 0020 -24 1.2 10.140307 0 *ON4CAF* JO21 37 * 0024 -19 -2.2 10.140284 0 *EK6RSC* LN20 37 0026 -23 1.2 10.140307 0 *ON4CAF* JO21 37 * 0028 -19 -0.7 10.140247 1 *PA3ABK**/2* 33 0032 -27 0.2 10.140176 1 *<...>* EL89TP 30 0034 -24 4.1 10.140198 0 *AB4QS* EL88 37 0034 -23 1.3 10.140306 0 *ON4CAF* JO21 37 * I'll try it on MF maybe TA is will be now more regular for me :-) BTW details why and what is extra does, you can find here : https://github.com/k9an/wsprcan Note that there special commands to fine tune the program. Above was just out-of-the-box. Jan/pa3abk -- pa3abk <-> dordrecht jo21it Sent by Philips STB-75 with T100
