Must be fun to build the antenna up there. Which earth losses do you get? Or, how much antenna current do you get at 30W? Yesterday i saw SV3DVO in MF WSPR making a good signal. Do you plan to use that band too, in some time? Would be fine to make a QSO and you seem to run a good combination of antenna size and power... That sounds interesting. Must be fun to build the antenna up there.

Hello  Graham, Markus and others.

Your observations are correct and thank you.

Yesterday  tested in my remote site location a new antenna.

The antenna is a vertical 14,50m with 70m horizontal (INV “V”) with my YUMA transmitter – 30w output.

The remote site is at the top of a mountain 600 m a.s.l. with open horizon all around.

That was the weak transmittion in QRG 137.510.

For comparative reports in the next TX I used my normal qro transmitter at home in 137.520.

That sounds reasonable :-)

73, Stefan

Seems that the antenna work fine.

73, Spiros/SV8CS

Two consecutive Op-32 transmissions from SV8CS, showing an unusual step in frequency and in fieldstrength:

New transmitter?
