In fact 'VLF6' is rather noisy, partly due to the fact that it uses an analog FM link to carry the broadband VLF signal "home" over a distance of 1.5 kilometers. The antenna rod (1.5 m long) is still sitting on the stump of a rowan berry tree: http://www.qsl.net/dl4yhf/vlf_reception/VLF_Receivers.html#VLF_remote_receiver_2 All the best, Wolf .
