Mix Pol. =20 We tested a full size squashed (over 5 acres) resonant dipole at 30ft for 4= 75kHz (some 500ft each leg) last night but it didnt manage to get a signal= out of State - Z was 100ohms given its 'folded state' but was matched at f= eedpoint ok - I dont intend to keep this up as its Dx performance on rx was= "ok" but typically (but not all the times) worse than the K9AY and L400bs.= It took me nearly 4 days total time to errect as I was interested to at le= ast try it out against the calcs and books - Ill probably use of the the l= egs and readjest heights into some form of long wire/beverage. =20 Conditions are still pretty dire with no station >3000Kms decoded last nigh= t.
