As a wrote before, i didn't expect such results with my small antenna. Looks that the "cage" is able to increase the current at the feed point more than the antenna having double height but without cage. I will try to improve dimensions of the antenna for the next autumn in order to attempt 2way qso's (may be WSQ2 ?) . 73, Domenico iz7slz On Wednesday, 13 August 2014, Alex K wrote: > Hello LF, Domenico > My OPDS report (files was reprocessed with your callsign): > > RN3AUS KO85sh Opera-32 correlation > date time call distance frequency bandwidth snr > correlation > 2014-08-11 22:42:52 IZ7SLZ 2194km 137499.785Hz 2mHz -46.5dBOp 80% > 14.5dB > 2014-08-11 22:10:06 IZ7SLZ 2194km 137499.782Hz 3mHz -49.1dBOp 89% > 17.0dB > > 73 de rn3aus/Alex > > > Tue, 12 Aug 2014 09:35:04 +0200 =D0=BE=D1=82 IZ7SLZ >: > > Hello Graham, Group > > I'm using audio from OPERA 1.4.5 to modulate my USB exciter setted to dia= l > 136.000 kHz . Hello Graham, Group

I'm using audio from OPERA 1.4.5 to modulate my USB exciter sette= d to dial 136.000 kHz . So QRG seems ok. I got,=C2=A0 during last night= , three decodes from SV8RV and many others from Markus DF6NM in OPDS32. Many thanks to these receiving stations.

Tx power out=C2=A0 is 50 W and antenna is very small: so these result= s are more than expected for this season.

I will stop activities for a week. Planned an holiday week with family in PA, OR. I will reactivate the trasmitter at the end of August.

73 and good holidays to all.

Domenico, iz7slz

Yes Graham,
thanks for observing my spots.

from the end of July i'm QRV on 2200m with a small transmitter.
Antenna is=C2=A0=C2=A0inverted-L. Vertical radiator is 8 meter= long surrounded=C2=A0=C2=A0by=C2=A0a "cage" of 6 wires all c= onnected in parallel.
This fat antenna, requires a coil of about 2.5 mH.
So far i got some wspr-15 spots from=C2=A0SV,D,LA e since yesterday i'm trying OPERA with the hope=C2=A0=C2=A0to be rec= eived at least from SV.
