What about using the mains earth as a ground? This earth is probably connected to the earth of the other building :-) Maybe you could use that as a loop, using a simple grounded wire, just as an experiment. As long as you don't pass several 10A of antenna current through the earth, maybe nothing happens :-) But i think it will not give a good RX antenna :-) We're looking forward to the results! 73, Stefan
