I’ll send to you more informations about all my K9AY experiments. I wanted to do that, so I think it is now the good time to write that ! HI.

Please wait for 2 or 3 days, because I am a bit busy now...

Hi Andy,

Thanks for sharing your results. Can you give some more data, regarding termination resistance and dimensions and preamp (?) of the antenna?

Nice to see that my signal was helpful for the tests! Be happy that it was not QRP, since you would have missed the decode at 15:50 otherwise.

I would like to do similar experiments in some time, maybe. When i will be in France in September i will certainly do a lot of MF experiments. Looking forward to that :-)

Hello Stefan.

I was just testing the front to back ratio of my home made K9AY RX antenna. It was very interesting because on day light, your ground wave signal is very stable.

At 1540 TU, the K9AY was in your direction.
At 1550 TU, I swiched it to the back.

266

Result : 36 dB of front to back ! Intersesting indeed !

Hi MF,

I'm on a castele in JN49HR, having a fieldday with our local radio club. I'm running a /p WSPR RX station using a homemade DC receiver and a resonated 1m diameter loop antenna, which is pointing to NW/SE in the moment, i.e. pointing to G/PA.

Please give it a try a give me a chance to decode you on 630m, also for others to demonstrate the activity.

I guess i'll run the system until 22 UTC or so, depending on activity and WX.

I will turn the antenna from time to time... So far i got DC0DX and of course my own signal from JN49IK.

73, Stefan
