it's due to the t= ime of the year. From november til february it should be no problem to work Joe in=  CW with modera= te power (< 1W EIRP). During the winter 2009-2010 I could=  hear Joe almost every night with good signal and the US experimental stations (up to = ;20W ERP) were = booming in too.

Let's hope that<= /a> FCC allows&= nbsp;472kHz before t= he end of the year and there will be plenty of VE/W stations to work next winter.
