Hi Steinar,

Not really too late - I am still transmitting occasionally.

It was interesting to see how different DL3ZID's signal was during the 
early afternoon:
SNR between -10 and -22 dB (with noise normalized for with the somewhat 
arbitrary 3 kHz bandwidth).

Will send a number of 'diddles' (alternative idle tones, at the lowest 
and highest WSQ symbol frequency); this may give an indication about how 
many dBs are missing. The 'long FFT' should be selected (in the new 
version) for this test, because the reduced FFT bin width also helps to 
see weak signals in the spectrogram.
