up to now, the 16-bit opds software didn't run directly under 64-bit versio=
ns of Win-7 and -8,?and had to be placed in a virtual machine eg?VMware or =
Windows XP-mode. Following a suggestion from GW0EZY, I have adapted the sou=
rcecode?for the?FreeBasic compiler http://www.freebasic.net, resulting in a=
 version opds2h5c which is functionally equivalent to the existing opds2h5 =
but also works in a 64-bit environment. It?will also allow long filenames a=
nd path names for the SpecLab and Dropbox directories. Here's what to do:
- download opds.zip from df6nm.bplaced.net/opera/opds.zip, and set up SpecL=
ab and opds.ini as?described in?quick_guide,
- download df6nm.bplaced.net/opera/opds2h5c.zip?and place?the executable in=
 the same directory,
- if you?want to?let opds automatically delete?data files after processing,=
 append the stdout and stderr redirections 1&gt;nul and 2&gt;nul?in?your cl=
eanup.bat, as shown in the example.?
