Opera deep-search users,

up to now, the 16-bit opds software didn't run directly under 64-bit versions of Win-7 and -8, and had to be placed in a virtual machine eg VMware or Windows XP-mode. Following a suggestion from GW0EZY, I have adapted the sourcecode for the FreeBasic compiler http://www.freebasic.net, resulting in a version opds2h5c which is functionally equivalent to the existing opds2h5 but also works in a 64-bit environment. It will also allow long filenames and path names for the SpecLab and Dropbox directories. Here's what to do:
- download opds.zip from df6nm.bplaced.net/opera/opds.zip, and set up SpecLab and opds.ini as described in quick_guide,
- download df6nm.bplaced.net/opera/opds2h5c.zip and place the executable in the same directory,
- if you want to let opds automatically delete data files after processing, append the stdout and stderr redirections 1>nul and 2>nul in your cleanup.bat, as shown in the example.

Best 73,
Markus (DF6NM)
