Content preview: Bob, I am not sure what led you to mention frequencies above you as I mentioned only those below. It seems the traces seen on 74.5465 may not have been man made. The antenna is my 136kHz transmit inverted-L (14m vertical wire and five 14m horizontal wires in a strip about 2m wide) re-resonated on 74.5kHz. The receiver is an Afredri SDR with an LPF to reduce medium wave signals. I have spent some time optimising the settings of the receiver and also of SpecLab. I have sometimes had much better reception of VO1NA than mainland European stations, so it is possible that distance is an issue. My location (IO91VT) is about 35km north of London in SE England. de Mike, G3XDV ============= > Fabulous captures-I don't know of anyone operating higher up the band > only below me as there are Loran artifacts higher up-Dex on 74.5485 > and John at 74.5478 or .5475 Being weekend tomorrow I hope there will > be late activity tonight and I will be on until at least 0600.
