Overall the loop provided an averaged out better signal/noise with last nig= hts propagation=2C but as can be seen from below it wasnt always the case f= or every tx period - and thats not selecting the bearing with max signal fr= om John or nulling out the do-doo from the local QRM makers. It was up to 3= or 4dB either way... It was overall a close run thing but there were however more positive decod= es on the loop than the probe which is good for me here=2C especially as I = hadnt tweaked the bearings. Im going to do the same for the loop on MF ton= ight if it stops raining...
