I have build one in a small die cast aluminum box. The box was the "antenna" and the buffer amplifier was inside the box. The feed line was connected via an isolated BNC connector. I believe the form that approached a ball the most, was a unit where the electronics were mounted on a BNC connector and the "antenna"consisting of copper foil wrapped around it. It fitted inside a half 35 mm film cannister. 73, Roelof, pa0rdt
