It would be interesting to have 2 identical orthogonal earth antennas where one of them points to me with its null. Then we could compare the SNR and may get some ideas about the directivity...

Just for info :

My PC is a very low cost HP model G5401 without extra sound or video card.
=C2=A0
With OP 8, OP 32, WSPR 2, WSPR 15, Spectran ans some others programs running, the CPU using is only 6 %. Not too bad indeed !
=C2=A0
You can see the nice trace coming from PA0WMR ! See the eyes of my dog who is also looking at...

Hello to all.
=C2=A0
To night I=E2=80=99ll test for receiving a 2 = ground rods antenna on 136 USB, modes : OP 8, OP 32, WSPR 2 and WSPR 15, all at the same time.
=C2=A0
Distance between the two rods : 35 meters. Each rod : 50 mm diameter aluminium tube, 2 meters long.
=C2=A0
A low power test permits to tune the antenna to 50 Ohms. It needs an L network with a 275 =C2=B5H serial coil and a 4.= 7 nF in parallel on the antenna side.
=C2=A0
Bi directional receiving antenna azimuth : UK / VE one side and I / SV on the other side.
=C2=A0
No preamplifier is necessary. RX is an IC7200= .
=C2=A0
Hope to copy you !
