Hi stefan,
I tried to call you in rtty between your beacon transmissions, but either my signal was too weak or you were not listening at that moment. Oh well, better luck next time?

It looks like my PA is blown up once again. It is simply not designed for a key-down transmission, so the idle mode is not ideal, except i'm using a fan. Now i will once again replace 2x IRFZ48N and be on air in 1 hour or earlier. Let us try the QSO then again, OK? :-)

Yes Amtor might also be interesting to look into.
And I=92ll stick with FSK modes only for the time being, lineair modes are not an option with my PIC+DDS9850 TX for now...

Hi Stefan,

I can decode you through Twente WebSDR, abt 50% copy right now. I=92m sure this will get to a solid copy later tonight.
My own sig is not much better, and I am _much_ closer to Twente... :-(

Eddie, LF,

I just learned how to program a beacon transmission and now i'm running a test transmission in RTTY 50 Baud and 85 Hz shift on 478.2 kHz (ish). Will do some tests via Twente WEB SDR now. It's still daytime so the signal may still be down.
Picture from local grabber RX attached (antenna disconnected).

Try to catch it :-)

I would like to do some QSOs later, if someone is strong enough and willing.

Just mentioned in passing no debates please. :-)
OK :-)

Now, are you prepared to listen for me? This evening i would like to make a QSO, if this is possible. However the data rate is quite high so i assume you need a relative high power to keep the error rate low.
Yes I will listen for you no problem, let me know on here when you want to try. Yes the data bits do not stay long in the same place so it is for you QRO guys or short distance and medium distance with lifts for the QRP'rs.
I slept in very early last evening, sorry, so i missed to do a test on air last night. But today!

Which baud rate and frequency shift is recommended and which frequency?
Follow Gary and be compatible seems sensible, Baud rate used is 50 shift 85 Hz QRG 478.200KHz set you baud rate and shift in Menu - MODE - RTTY - Opions at the bottom of the list.
RRRR.
I will do so :-)

73, cul, Stefan

PS: Is there a possibility to run a beacon message in that program? It is quite intuitive but i didn't find that function.

I look forward to seeing you sigs.
