Content preview: Thanks to all for the spots last night. US > EU condx good with 7 spots from Hartmut, DL-SWL (-33.6 avg. s/n). US > SA also good with 18 spots from YV7MAE (-32.9 avg. s/n). Interesting to note is that none of the spots from Hartmut and only 2 or 3 from YV7MAE would have generated spots with WSPR-2. WSPR-15 is certainly a welcome addition to the weak signal mode toolbox ... thanks Joe! Not only does the program work extremely well, the database with it's search capabilities and archive system puts it miles ahead of other weak signal modes. Last nights 'spotters' include DL-SWL, YV7MAE, RLS, W1WV, WA3TTS, KB4OER, KA9CFD, K9AN, VE3IQB, W3NF, KC0BMF, K3SIW. Would be nice to have a few more spotters (as there are on 600 meters) but realize that 2200 meters has a difficulty rating probably 6 dB higher than 600 meters ... 10 log 2200/600 ;~) Jay W1VD WD2XNS WE2XGR/2
