Yes, in a sense DF0WD's=20 transmission must have sounded like a beacon... callsign repeated = multiple=20 times, since after the initial call Fortunato had only copied the 'DF0' = but not=20 the rest; and I could only hope not to 'go down in QSB'. He was 579 here = so his=20 TX must be a bit stronger.
