I have to say an up converter in front of a DVB-T TV stick works well a= t HF but at MF/LF owing to the necessity of spreading the band (owing to narrow allocation etc) the display presentation is not good. Very blocky = I guess as a result of the slower processing but signals don't sound bad. A= lso the up converter in my case using an SBL-1 whilst fine at HF in terms of gain with no pre-amp at MF appears to need one. RX antenna gain at MF/LF = is surely a factor and may be LO injection levels may not be at their optimu= m in my circuit. I am very interested in the comment about added frequency coverage SANS= up converter. Also=20 the up converter in my case using an SBL-1 whilst fine at HF in terms = of gain=20 with no pre-amp at MF appears to need one.
