Content preview: Mal - thanks - well my part 5 license puts me in 505/510kHz only, also avoiding a low power NDB up in Fairbanks on 510 so Ive generally plonked myself around 506, but the cross permit/license comms restrictions are there so I dont think it will be possible save a X band on say 40m using my ham call. Ive never heard you on 137/500 from any of my previous "foreign" haunts - in fact the last time I think was when I was listening to you in QSO was mobile on whilst whizzing up the M1 You also used to put a good signal on 137 CW into the Peterhead area years back when I live there- used to hear that G2 station on CW during the day weakly too - I used a loaded T at 70ft for 137 in those days but only listened. Yes there are some very big guns up here in KL7 on 160 - perhaps we will have the fortune of hearing you on 137/500 season - I expect if condtions were good enough that the path to SM6 would be open now, as he made it hear in Alaska and Far Eastern China on 502.4 on WSPR at this time of year Laurence KL1X From: Wed, 3 Oct 2012 08:22:06 +0000 Subject: Re: Was Strefans/G LF: LF/MF modification of TS850 for LF and band conditions [...] Content analysis details: (-2.1 points, 5.0 required) pts rule name description ---- ---------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -0.0 RCVD_IN_DNSWL_NONE RBL: Sender listed at http://www.dnswl.org/, no trust [65.55.116.37 listed in list.dnswl.org] 0.0 FREEMAIL_FROM Sender email is commonly abused enduser mail provider (hellozerohellozero[at]hotmail.com) -0.0 SPF_PASS SPF: sender matches SPF record -2.1 RP_MATCHES_RCVD Envelope sender domain matches handover relay domain 0.0 HTML_MESSAGE BODY: HTML included in message X-Scan-Signature: 85c54099682e8e65d9e25bf804a68673 Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="_b6ab14ce-80dc-491a-9d8c-b1d884560e37_" Subject: LF: 500 to KEV X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.63 (2004-01-11) on post.thorcom.com X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, hits=0.5 required=5.0 tests=FORGED_HOTMAIL_RCVD,HTML_20_30, HTML_MESSAGE,TO_ADDRESS_EQ_REAL autolearn=no version=2.63 X-SA-Exim-Scanned: Yes Sender: owner-rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org Precedence: bulk Reply-To: rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org X-Listname: rsgb_lf_group X-SA-Exim-Rcpt-To: rs_out_1@blacksheep.org X-SA-Exim-Scanned: No; SAEximRunCond expanded to false x-aol-global-disposition: G x-aol-sid: 3039ac1d410a506c98be65a1 X-AOL-IP: 195.171.43.25 X-AOL-SPF: domain : blacksheep.org SPF : none --_b6ab14ce-80dc-491a-9d8c-b1d884560e37_ Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Mal - thanks - well my part 5 license puts me in 505/510kHz only=2C also av= oiding a low power NDB up in Fairbanks on 510 so Ive generally plonked myse= lf around 506=2C but the cross permit/license comms restrictions are there = so I dont think it will be possible save a X band on say 40m using my ham c= all.
