I also have to count the characters each time. So maybe it is useful to limit the text box to what can actually be transmitted. 73, Stefan Am 29.10.2012 00:50, schrieb Graham: > JT9 what is the qso mode exactly ? > Is the qso mode a set of fixed responses as in the eme > variants > or could one type 'I have a cat' for example ? > G.. --------------050902030404030901090701 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit G..,

Joe,

The text field in JT9 is longer though and it accepts longer text which is then not sent. This may be confusing for new operators. I also have to count the characters each time. So maybe it is useful to limit the text box to what can actually be transmitted.

JT9  what is  the  qso mode  exactly ?

Is the  qso  mode   a  set  of  fixed   responses    as in the  eme  variants

or  could  one type  'I have a cat'  for  example  ?
