Need to check the sampling rate of the 2nd-hand mini laptop carried home from Hannover yesterday. I guess wsjt-x either samples directly at 12000 samples/second, or at 48000 and then decimates by four. Forgive me Joe, I didn't read the nice documentation yet. Will run Spectrum Lab at different sampling rates, connected to an OCXO divided down to audio range, and see what the trouble is. Alternatively (later) I will try the FiFi-SDR as a replacement, but some modifications in SL are necessary so it can modify the VFO frequency through the ExtIO_Si570.dll interface. Oh, I'd love to have a version of WSJT which is capable of using an ExtIO-DLL for input. This would allow using Perseus or SDR-IQ directly.. but that totally o.t. now. Hi Stefan and all,

Indeed, there was a second signal on a slightly different frequency which did seem to answer. But no decode on his signal (from JO31?) here as well.
Need to check the sampling rate of the 2nd-hand mini laptop carried home from Hannover yesterday. I guess wsjt-x either samples directly at 12000 samples/second, or at 48000 and then decimates by four. Forgive me Joe, I didn't read the nice documentation yet.

Hi Wolf,

Appeared? That looks like you saw it in a spectrogram but got no decode.
Someone seems to answer to my call but i get no decode GRRR!

Thanks for watching!

RRR Stefan. Guess that was your signal, which appeared broader than Markus' earlier on.
Hmm... did I send the previous msg here or on the other group ? ... Anyways, I keep monitoring in JT9-2 from now on, and see what happens. Terrible local QRM here by the way, the "buzzing" type. But too cold for spending the evening at the club station.

Does someone get a decode?
I can neither decode my own signal nor the (strong!) signals of others :-(

Maybe it is a timing problem. As long as JT9 is limited to an input/output frequency range of 0...2 kHz i have to use VAC and SL, which may cause a certain time delay that might be critical in JT9-1 :-(

I try to continue in JT9-2 now. Maybe here it works...

PS: Yes, i've been going through the restart sequence as well...

Hi, Albert,

thanks for trying! Got 8 "sync-points" and correct freq readout but no message from you, no idea why.

Attempting JT9-1 now on 137420.

 Received your CQ JT9-2 twice @ 1452 and 1456 and I responded a couple

of times but nothing more from ur side.

 report was -17 dB.
