I didn't expect that you try to understand me. At least i hope that you=20
(and John) don't ignore that here are many others who do not want a=20
yahoo group due to various reasons and will not migrate without a fatal=20
disharmony in a new group!

We all know some additional features of a yahoo group but these will not=20
achieve much more on LF! Is your intention really to gain newcomers by=20
making old emails available? Really? I think it is rather a power game,=20
who will be the winners party. But there will be only losers and the=20
conversations will suffer in harmony!

For example, PA7EY is a very newcomer here on LF. He was moved to LF=20
because he discovered my (often complained) CW beacon on 137.0 kHz.
Newcomers are gained by doing exciting things in the presence, not in=20
the past!! And most of the group member never became tired to repeat the=20
basics how to set up a TX system for example. Contrarwise, we like to=20
talk about the basics and often this caused new discussions where many=20
learned something new. A part of the nice work here.

"AND SO MUCH MORE"  MORE is not always the question! Sometimes a well=20
known place works better. You know my very old car from the VLF images.=20
It is 23 years old. There are MANY cars which offer SO MUCH MORE (air=20
conditioning, air bags, seat heater....) but i simply want to drive this=20
car. It is my car!
There are also XYLs that can do SO MUCH MORE. Would you change?
