But I don't use audio tones. I normally directly key the Tx using ON7YD's excellent 'QRSS' program. I can configure SpecLab so the COM1 port will switch the key on and off (using a helpful TEST button), but I can't find anything that will connect a text input to the COM port. Does anyone have some simple instructions for this? Or is SpecLab just for audio-based transmitting? Am I better off continuing to use the ON7YD program? Mike, G3XDV ==========
