Really QRT ? Can still hear you cqing at 502 kHz, 579 on a short indoor dipole, in JO42FD.

Unfortunately 7033 is crowded at the moment, otherwise i'd give it a try.

You should hear me all day long. I get 599 from the Dutch stns daytime no need to wait until it gets dark.
I am using a full 1/4 wave inv L up at 100 feet high. Now QRT for  today

Mal,

ok,perhaps we can try later when it's completely dark between you and me.
Last year I was able to see, hear(!) and decode several UK WSPR
stations with ERPs in the mW range (and US stations, too).
But that was much later in the evening ,when the complete path
was in the dark, say 2000z or later.
Thanks for trying.

How strong is the Italian beacon on 501.3 at your site?
Here ist is around S5, 10-12dB over noise
on a K9AY as well as on a 2x156m dipole.
