I have already received two copies of the schematic and pc board layout from members of the reflector! Andre did send me some info on mods, the unit I have was previously owned by Paul Rinaldo of the AMRAD group. Pity that there are no longer LF gatherings at the RSGB conventions, if there were I would like to make the trip! 73 Warren K2ORS On Fri, Mar 30, 2012 at 11:18 AM, ALAN MELIA wr= ote: > Hi Warren, one of the early users was Amrad, They certainly had to do som= e mods the change the frequency and also make then suitable for continuous = transmit. So an email to Andre Kesteloot N1CK might yield something. It is = possible that Frank Gentges was involved. I met Andre and Frank at RSGB Con= ventions about 10 years ago. In this country they were stocked by Nevada in= the UK but I am not sure whether Mike Devereau (the MD) who was a great su= pporter of LF, actually had any technical details, but he is also worth try= ing. > > Alan G3NYK > > --- On Fri, 30/3/12, Warren Ziegler wrote: > >> From: Warren Ziegler >> Subject: LF: Ropex Schematic >> To: "rsgb_lf_group" >> Date: Friday, 30 March, 2012, 15:28 >> Hello the list, >> >> =A0 =A0 =A0=A0=A0I believe that someone had >> in the past obtained or reverse >> engineered the schematic diagram for the Ropex ("The First") >> 136kHz >> transmitter. >> Can anyone point me to this information? >> Tnx! >> >> -- >> 73 Warren K2ORS >> =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 WD2XGJ >> =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 WD2XSH/23 >> =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 WE2XEB/2 >> =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 WE2XGR/1 >> >> > --=20 73 Warren K2ORS =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 WD2XGJ =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 WD2XSH/23 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 WE2XEB/2 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 WE2XGR/1
