This evening I see also the carrier on 49,9kHz,but also an equal strong one on 50,1kHz. In the middle,on 50,0kHz, a much stronger carrier. This looks like 100Hz sidebands of a signal on 50kHz. The reception is too weak to say surely if there are one second pulses. So I'm not sure if I receive the same signal as you did. 73 Clemens DL4RAJ ----- Original Message ----- From: "Roelof Bakker" To: Sent: Friday, March 30, 2012 11:21 AM Subject: LF: RTZ on 50 kHz > There is also a carrier on 50 kHz and on closer inspection a much weaker > signal sits 100 Hz lower. > When I listen with my PRESEUS in a 20 Hz bandwidth, a typical time signal > is audible with one second dashes. > There is one time station mentioned on 50 kHz and that is RTZ, Irkuts, > Russia with a radiated power of 10 KW.
