Hello Stefan,
I have an optimistic view on the mos= t things in live and mostly a lucky guy. But I am disappointed about too mu= ch things in the DARC. I don't want to bother the guys here with old storys= . I was very active in the club for many years and I know what I'm talking = about
But what have they done more for the new allocation bu= t not to say NO at WRC-2012? MF is no contest, no D-Star but mostly homebre= wing. But how many hams in DL are still interested in this essential field = of our hobby?
So if there is any conflict with the Bundesnet= zagentur about the new allocation they wont fight it out for a few exotic h= ams.
But of course I hope I will be wrong.
Ho= rst

Hello Horst ,

I hope your pessimistic view applies only to MF, not to the whole amateur radio hobby or even your whole live.

I am rather optimistic and very happy and thankful to those who worked hard over a long time to reach what was achieved now on the WRC-2012! Also i am very optimistic that we can transmit on 600m "soon". Ho= wever i will not start to build a RX or a PA for 475 kHz unless the date when we can start to transmit isn't definitively fixed for DL.

Hello Stefan, hello Walter,
the VO Funk / Radio Regulation is international law. I am in doubt if this will be fully implemented in national law in Germany very soon. In the past our Bundesnetzagentur did not see the VO Funk as MUST but as CAN.  The Bundesnetzagentur itself will not be interested in actualisation of the Frequenzzuweisungsplanverordnung, the Frequenznutzungsplan and the Amateurfunkverordnung. Funny words that sound as complicated as german authorities work . . .
So it depends on the DARC. But I do not expect much from them. If they would really bring us on 472kHz within 2012 this was really a reason to join the club again.
Horst

Hello Walter,

What do you think, how long will it take (about) until the local VO Funk
is updated, i.e. when can we start to TX on 600m? Rather a month, or 6
or 1 year?

73, Stefan
