The longer op16 did not give good results over long dx , = possibly due to the 'flash' propagation , the faster versions , = can put more 'data' into the decoder during the peaks , once Op = is over about 55% then a decode (should) take place , the data = loss can be randomly lost during the tx time ..... yes for = ground wave , then the longer versions will decode at lower = levels ..on 136 OP8 and OP32 are giving good results , from = what can be seen on qrss screen shots , 30 mins looks to be = about the average ''up time'' for most signals at range .. I am using a CW TX and place the carrier on = 501.5 Khz. and=20 likewise on 137.5 Khz I assume this is correct. Using a ssb TX needs a = different=20 approach.
