Hello Petr and = all OMs!
That is fine! Be lucky, you are 212km away :-)
I was = briefly receiving on the new band as well. I listened to signals from = NDB  "RP", "PT", "VIB",  "BIA" : =

477kHz    1018/1030   =  RP    Malacky/Kuchyna       SVK   = JN88NL

474kHz =    1031/1034    BIA   Rzeszow/Jasionka   =   POL    KO10BC

Well, = despite my problem with huge  "RP" signal I am sure, that the band = will be  usable for me. I am going to build a new beam antenna on = my garden. Its minimum receiving must be direct to "RP", of course :-) =

Hello = all,

I am not so pesimistic, more exactly, I = am a bit more lucky. I am abt 212 km away from RP.
I made a = first reception test this Sunday. RP is the strongest signal on the band = but it doesn=92t bother much. Besides it I heard two more beacons. The = band is more spacy and much calmer than 136kHz. Looking forward to the = day it is crowded by HAM sigs.

Hello OMs!
I read all your comments about new HAM band, = they were written in the last days. To tell the truth, to use this = band  will be a problem for me and all HAMS in our region. There is = a Slovak NDB beacon "RP" located right between 472 and = 479kHz.

CALL : RP
FREQ: = 477kHz
Modulation:    +/- 1060Hz side = bands
QTH: Malacky/Kuchyna
QRA: = JN88NL

My QTH is only 37km far = from the "RP". The beacon=B4s signal is constantly  at least +50dB = up to noise (in fact +60dB in the modulation gaps). The carrier is not = problem, but the worst thing is the wide strong noise during the = transmission. It is about +25dB - see the picture. I made sure myself, = that it was not a problem of my RX. The situation is the same, when an = attenuator between antenna and RX is used.

I = hope that "RP" will not be a problem for you as = well!
