Thanks for your nice job! Hope to be ready with my=20 antenna before you come back to DL: at least Stefan help you to avoid=20 to forget EU.... .. By the way I'm quite worried for you: I saw in the=20 picture of the palm shed the size of the mosquito net! ;-) 73, Marco=20 IK1HSS ----Messaggio originale---- Da: markusvester@aol.com Data: 14- feb-2012 11.55 AM A: Cc: "Stefan Sch=C3=A4fer" Ogg: LF: DK7FC received in=20 South India We are currently in Kerala (India), and I have taken along=20 an LF receive setup consisting of active E-probe, FiFI-SDR IQ receiver,=20 and my netbook. Due to other activities, limited notebook battery life=20 and lack of internet connectivity, it is not possible to run a=20 continuous grabber from here, but I couldf arrange a few receive=20 sessions, either around local midnight or before sunrise (details given=20 below).=20 At night, HGA 135.43 kHz was up to 58 dB SNR, and both HGA=20 and DCF were clearly audible. HGA could still be detected at about 12=20 dB SNR at midday. So far, signals from DK7FC were positively received=20 on three occasions. I have asked Stefan to temporarily QSY 0.2 Hz down=20 to evade an erratically appearing local line. Besides DK7FC, the=20 attached screenshot from last night may also have a weak trace on=20 136174.3 and perhaps another on 136172.8 Hz (note that frequency=20 scales are offset by about 0.22 Hz due to residual LO error). Depending on our travel group's schedules, I may be able to run a=20 couple more evening sessions in the days to come. Unfortunately we have=20 to walk to the next village for internet access, but I can hook up with=20 Stefan by mobile phone for announcements and immediate feedback. We=20 intend to go back to DL on Feb. 24th.
