It certainly runs WSPR but I haven't tried OPERA, works well with Spec Lab and runs my SDR-IQ no problem. It is worth noting that it has a matt screen, so no reflections outdoors and runs for about 8 hours on a charge. But I'm sure there are others just as good ..... Tony EI8JK ----- Original Message ----- From: "Roger Lapthorn" To: Sent: Sunday, January 22, 2012 11:38 PM Subject: LF: Netbooks and VLF/LF software Sorry to ask this again (it is hard to look for past posts with no archive, unlike with Yahoo groups) but can someone recommend a small netbook that will run modes like WSPR , OPERA and packages like Spectran and Spectrum Lab without undue stress or issues? I am looking for a second machine to free up the main laptop and to use portable for VLF/LF and light beam work. 73s Roger G3XBM -- Via my iPod Touch 4g --
