Hi Mal,

OPERA - I tried it on RX successfully on 136k the other night and if i= t is indeed several dB better than WSPR in the Op31 mode it will certainly o= f interest in earth-mode, although I find QRSS30 the best so far.

Currently busy getting gear going on 481THz where the V= LF weak signal techniques will be useful for cloud and troposcatter. Failed t= o copy GB3CAM 481THz beacon at 32km tonight on first try. Back to the drawin= g board.

It seems an attractive mode ie eats up the CPU, n= eeds=20 Code/Decode and is not as good as QRSS 3
I will avoid it and continue with CW and=20 QRSS
Attractive !! I am joking

Laurence,

On my old LF grabber PC it is easily=20= possible to run 6 SL instances without problems. But, if Opera bahaves a= bout=20 like ROS regarding CPU load (i did some ROS VLF tests for a few days in=20= 2010, until i found that it cannot decode signals that were more than O c= opy=20 in DFCW-3),  it would be a problem for that PC or at least at its=20= limit.
A pity about loosing the ID of that traces in the ARGO screen= ,=20 seemed to have been OOO copy...
How many Opera decodes in AK so far, o= n=20 137?
