That brings back memories of being highly chuffed by your reports of receiving signals in 2003 -- my first transatlantic transmission. The pegelsender was set to 13.777 and divided by 100 before being fed to a 100W Class E that came from your web page and coaching. Sorry for getting nostalgic! Your earlier comment concerning the TA path with 1 hop at times is very interesting. 73 Joe On Mon, 21 Nov 2011, Alan Melia wrote: > Hi Alberto I have come across PS prefix devices and those were pegelsender, > which is a signal source. the PSM-5 seems an early one ....maybe this > suggests it is one those with a source and level measuring set in one case. > > Alan > G3NYK > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Alberto di Bene" > To: > Sent: Monday, November 21, 2011 6:25 PM > Subject: LF: PSM5 > > >> I am sure this is the best place where to ask information for a Wandel & > Goltermann Level Meter... :-) >> >> Does anybody have the PDF of the Operation Manual and ideally also of the > Service Manual for this >> old boatanchor (abt 60 kg...) ? >> >> The label says "Level Measuring Set 10 kHz..36 MHz PSM-5" >> >> I get hold of one, apparently working, in not so good aesthetic > conditions, but it looks different from >> other W&G Selektiver Pegelmesser i have.... >> >> TNX >> >> >> >> 73 Alberto I2PHD >> >> > > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > ---- > > > I am sure this is the best place where to ask information for a Wandel & > Goltermann Level Meter... :-) > > Does anybody have the PDF of the Operation Manual and ideally also of the > Service Manual for this > old boatanchor (abt 60 kg...) ? > > The label says "Level Measuring Set 10 kHz..36 MHz PSM-5" > > I get hold of one, apparently working, in not so good aesthetic conditions, > but it looks different from > other W&G Selektiver Pegelmesser i have.... > > TNX > > > > 73 Alberto I2PHD > > > > This electronic communication is governed by the terms and conditions at http://www.mun.ca/cc/policies/electronic_communications_disclaimer_2011.php
