Stefan - Well mutual darkness periods are =3B1510-1810 and 0130-0640&nb= sp=3BUTC as =3Bof today Stefan =3B- and that will increase till max= Dec24 or so=2C but Ive not as yet received a signal pre dawn Alaska but ha= d the "cooling" of the ionosphere over the longer Eu night path when G3LDO/= AGC and DF6NM plus others were received - but the path is very rarely open = - the last times =3Bwas 2003 (!) and we had to =3Bhave all the Geo-= Iono ducks in alignment to make it happen. Mode wise=2C as CW doesnt =3Bwork no matter how much Id like it to - DF= CW is the =3Bbest for most=2C and Id go for DCFW30 given the =3BQSB=  =3Bwith the average 20 min peak to trough signal levels.

I may get the opportunity to fire up the Tx into a loop but already the sno= w is getting =3Brather deep for errecting =3B- no chance of a verti= cal as Im at the end of =3Ban =3Bactive runway and =3Bits all B= irch forest as you =3Bsaw.  =3BThe loop would be aligned on Eu most= ly likely. Hi Laurence=2C
OK=2C that sounds interesting. What mode would you suggest? QRSS-30? And = what start time?
