Hi Band Model 5501 E
Measuired L=3D 66uH on orig freq
C =3D 23.7 nH
therefore to retune to 137 Khz needs a 150 nF = capicator in=20 series with existing C result 137.0 Khz
This is the most convenient model to modify for = the LF=20 BAND
If you are fortunate to have one of these = models, you=20 could be in business after a couple of hours.
Specified drive is 4.5 volts sq or sine wave = although some=20 extra drive is an advantage say 7 - 10 Volts
If you have a spare PA capacitor board for the = lower freq=20 units there are plenty of 150 nF capacitors for the mod.
These amplifiers and individual units ( 3 per = amp) are=20 easily modified for any freq of interest 600, 160, 80 metres and = maybe even=20 40 metres. Each individual unit will produce around 400 Watts at around = 67 volts=20 into a 71 ohm load or alternatively use 60 volts into a 50 ohm=20 load.
