There was 1 ros mf-2 rx showing on my pc but no text decode at -33 dB . . Propagation seems to be 'odd' as I can see the beacons round 505 , but when Gary was decoding your mfsk signal nothing was showing at my qth .. it was only close to midnight , your wspr signal started to show and decode ... but with 300 mW to the Ae last week , mf-2 was decoding with you , so I assume the Ae is 'working' ..note other stations in the same boat to day ? 73 -G.. -------------------------------------------------- From: "John GM4SLV" Sent: Saturday, September 03, 2011 7:14 PM To: Subject: Re: LF: Dual mode test MFSK/ROS > > On Sat, 3 Sep 2011 16:37:01 +0100 > "Graham" wrote: > >> Ok John.. >> >> That set up may be a problem for dual watch with only 1 rx >> >> If you set the TX to 500K usb and the MFSK4 to say 2KHz , >> that will fit inside the USB filter > > > Graham, LF, > > My antenna is pretty narrow, and currently tuned at the WSPR section of > the band, so it precludes TX below 502kHz. > > I've moved the ROS RX up to 502.0 dial - so the RF is centered on 503.5 > > The MFSK is on 502.4 dial / 503.4 RF (1kHz AF) > > Hope this makes sense?
